trovr’s “rewards for recycling” App model is a significant contributor to creating greater motivation to consumers to recycle single use glass and plastic bottles and aluminium drinks cans.
Subscribers earn reward points through the app from recycling glass, plastic, and aluminium drinks containers at one of a national and international network of recycling machines hosted in locations such as shopping malls, supermarkets, motorway service areas/filling stations, transportation hubs (air, bus, and rail), and community spaces.These reward points can be exchanged for vouchers offered through the app and redeemed online or on the high street for offers such as discounts, money off etc.
As countries adopt deposit return schemes (DRS) globally (UK in 2023/2024), our "Rewards For Recycling" model will contribute to a natural evolution in consumer behaviour and a step change in the amount of recycled packaging material.
